How we work

Three safeguards, one process and a few things we never do.

Three safeguards

The site belongs to you. The code is open, the domain and the hosting are registered to you, and so is all the access. Any developer can carry on without us.

Speed! PageSpeed above 90 on mobile is a condition of handover. A fast site ranks better, sells better and costs less to support.

Nothing extra. Only what solves the task. No “modules for later”, no JS frameworks for fashion’s sake, no features just to fill a line in the estimate.

The process

  1. A conversation. An hour about the task, the audience and what already exists. Free.
  2. An estimate. In writing, stage by stage, within 2–3 days. No “just in case” lines.
  3. Structure and prototype. Sitemap, page types, fields. An HTML prototype of the key pages on real content.
  4. Design. Typography, grid, states, the mobile version together with the desktop one.
  5. Development. Choosing the technology (ProcessWire, Astro or something else), templates, fields, content import. Interim versions can be seen at a test address.
  6. Launch. The move to production hosting, redirects, checks of PageSpeed, Schema.org, Yandex Webmaster and Search Console.
  7. Handover and training. An hour of recorded training for editors; all the access is yours.
  8. Technical support. Three free months.

Hosting

We don't provide hosting ourselves, we find the best fit for project needs. The account is registered to you; we set it up and, if you like, look after it.

What we do not do

  • We do not take on projects without someone responsible on the client’s side.
  • We do not write your content for you. We help with the structure and edit, but the text about your business is yours.
  • We do not put in JS frameworks where HTML is enough.
  • We do not promise “top 3 in Yandex within a month”.
  • We don’t work on 100% upfront or 100% on completion: we are paid in stages.

Sound like a fit?

We reply within a day. The first conversation is free and commits you to nothing.
